Navigation-Level Inertial Measurement Unit
SG-AÖB (Navigation-Level Inertial Measurement Unit) provides acceleration and rotation information to the navigation systems of all kinds of land, air and sea vehicles, especially guided munitions.
The system consists of three closed-loop fiber optic rotometers, three navigation level quartz accelerometers, three closed-loop fiber optic rotometers, and related electronic and mechanical designs. The electronic hardware design, software design, mechanical design, calibration and filter algorithm designs of the SG-AÖB inertial measurement unit were developed indigenously and nationally by TÜBİTAK SAGE.
