Quality Policy
TÜBİTAK SAGE offers and industrializes original products and services required for the current and future requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces and the Defense Industry through national Research and Development activities based on knowledge and high technology.
The fulfilment of this is based on customer satisfaction, ensuring added value to the country, continuous development and satisfaction of employees, the global and national competitiveness of the products and services and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
Occupational Health and Safety Policy
TÜBİTAK SAGE has established an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that complies with legal requirements and the TS ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems - Requirements Standard, and is continuously improved in terms of its effectiveness.
While implementing this system, TÜBİTAK SAGE is committed to:
- Creating safe and healthy working conditions to prevent injury and ill health,
- Complying with applicable legal requirements and conditions agreed upon with customers,
- Eliminating hazards and reducing occupational health and safety risks,
- Continuously improving the occupational health and safety management system,
- Consulting with employees and ensuring their participation, along with employee representatives.
All TÜBİTAK SAGE employees internalize the elements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and apply them in all their activities to achieve occupational health and safety objectives.
Environmental Policy
TÜBİTAK SAGE has established an Environmental Management System that complies with legal requirements and the TS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems – Requirements Standard, and is continuously improved in terms of its effectiveness.
By applying this system in all its activities as part of its mission, TÜBİTAK SAGE is committed to:
- Taking necessary measures to prevent pollution and protect the environment,
- Ensuring sustainable use of resources,
- Complying with applicable legal requirements,
- Continuously improving environmental performance.
All TÜBİTAK SAGE employees internalize the elements of the Environmental Management System and apply them in all their activities to achieve the Environmental Management System's objectives.
Test and Calibration Policy
TÜBİTAK SAGE has established a management system that meets the requirements of the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories Standard, as well as legal obligations, and is continuously improved for effectiveness to meet customer expectations.
TÜBİTAK SAGE employees apply the elements of this management system in their test and calibration work with full commitment.
Within the scope of its test and calibration activities, TÜBİTAK SAGE is committed to:
- Achieving technical excellence and high-quality standards in accordance with current national and/or international standards,
- Ensuring that all work is free from any commercial, financial, or other internal/external pressures and influences that could negatively impact its quality,
- Refraining from engaging in any activity that would compromise competence, impartiality, or trust in its decision-making or operations,
- Adhering to impartiality, identifying risks related to impartiality, and taking action to address such risks,
- Keeping all information obtained or generated during the performance of work confidential, except when legally required to disclose it,
- Carrying out all activities with a continuous focus on customer satisfaction.
Information Security Policy
TÜBİTAK SAGE has established an Information Security Management System in compliance with the ISO 27001 standard to protect its information assets and manage information security risks. This policy applies to all information assets owned or operated by TÜBİTAK SAGE, covering both electronic and physical environments throughout the entire lifecycle of these assets.
By applying this system in all its activities as part of its mission, TÜBİTAK SAGE is committed to:
- Implementing appropriate controls to ensure information security and protect information assets,
- Continuously assessing, analyzing, and managing information security risks,
- Complying with legislation and regulatory requirements related to information security,
- Raising employee awareness and providing training on information security,
- Ensuring business continuity and the capability to respond to incidents,
- Continuously monitoring, measuring, and improving information security performance.
