NEB-84 - Penetrating Bomb

NEB-84
Penetrating Bomb
The Penetrating Bomb (NEB) is the first concrete-penetrating munition developed in Turkey with the Sequential Penetrating Warhead technology, designed to be used against surface and underground targets. The external geometry, guidance kit interfaces, mass, center of mass and inertia characteristics of the NEB are similar to the MK-84 (2000 lb) General Purpose Bomb (GMB):
- High drilling efficiency at low impact speeds and in angled impact situations
- High effectiveness against secondary targets with pre-shaped particles used in the pre-penetrator design
- Programmable ignition times
- Can be used against different types of targets
- Potential to be used with all guidance kits compatible with MK-84 GMB
- Potential to be fired from all aircraft capable of carrying MK-84 GMB
