Within the scope of the SOM-J Project, the firing test of the SOM-J Missile against a surface target from an F-16 aircraft was successfully carried out on 11.03.2025.
Within the scope of the firing, communication and control, maximum range, hitting accuracy and engagement capabilities against surface targets were demonstrated with a data link after the firing. SOM-J fulfilled all requirements, including the maximum range requirement under challenging course and maneuvering conditions, and successfully hit the surface target platform.
