The World Defense Show (WDS) 2026 brought together institutions and organizations operating in the fields of land, air, naval, space and cyber security between February 8-12 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

TÜBİTAK SAGE participated in the exhibition, where our capabilities, innovative technologies and strategic vision for the future were comprehensively exhibited.

In the meetings we held with regional and global actors, important contacts were made to strengthen our existing collaborations, evaluate opportunities to access new markets and offer advanced solutions within the scope of our competencies.

As TÜBİTAK SAGE, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MIDANA, a company based in Saudi Arabia, in order to strengthen our global cooperation in the fields of test, evaluation and advanced defense capabilities. Mr. Kemal Topalömer, Director of the Institute, and Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bararar, CEO of MIDANA. The cooperation ceremony, which took place with the participation of Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Barrak, CEO of MIDANA, was considered as the first step of a major breakthrough that will contribute to strengthening national and allied defense ecosystems.
