The first firing of the GÖKSUR missile, developed in cooperation with TÜBİTAK SAGE and ASELSAN, was successfully carried out from the TCG Beykoz Ship. Developed as a close air defense system for naval platforms, the GÖKSUR IIR missile's data link, folding fin system and canister use were also successfully tested in this firing.
GÖKSUR Close Air Defense System provides effective defense against challenging air targets with its angled or vertical firing capability, multiple target interception capability and particle-impact warhead. GÖKSUR layered air defense system, which is a strategic part of ÇELİK KUBBE, will ensure the security of our national ships.
