As part of our country's Technological Advancement Roadmap, TÜBİTAK organized the world’s first and only competition aiming for a rocket's soft landing on the surface, the Vertical Landing Rocket Competition, at the TÜBİTAK SAGE Campus in Ankara. The competition aims to simulate a landing mission on the Moon's surface on Earth.
The award ceremony for the 3rd Vertical Landing Rocket Competition, held this year, will take place during the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival at Adana Şakirpaşa Airport, scheduled for October 2-6, 2024.
