Our Services

The Defence Industries Research and Development Institute (SAGE) was established in 1972 as an Institute of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and specializes in research and development activities in the defense industry. The main task of TÜBİTAK SAGE is to carry out research and development activities starting from basic research and conceptual design of defense systems and including engineering and prototype production of these systems. The Institute carries out most of its projects jointly with relevant national industrial organizations. In addition to its research and development activities, TÜBİTAK SAGE also provides inspection, measurement and testing services to various industrial organizations, universities and public institutions with its infrastructure, instruments, devices/equipment, manpower and know-how, which are composed of valuable scientists. TÜBİTAK SAGE's aim for these services is to increase cooperation with research institutions and organizations and universities, to strengthen research activities, to increase customer satisfaction and to ensure the continuity of services by carrying out corrective and developmental activities in the areas required by its customers.
